    Kinect Support

    Concept »

Kinect is a camera and depth sensor-based peripheral for the Xbox 360 that allows users to interact with and play games using their whole bodies, rather than using a standard controller.

Is this wise? It would be an ideal spot for it in my room but I'm not sure if it's potentially damaging to the 360's hard drive in any way. I can't see why it would be, but safety first!

No. It actually says specifically in the manual that you should not put it on top of your console.
It would probably get too warm and it would not be very stable once the motors in the sensor starts working. Also it needs to be centered exacly above or below your TV like the Wii sensor bar.
