Kinect is a camera and depth sensor-based peripheral for the Xbox 360 that allows users to interact with and play games using their whole bodies, rather than using a standard controller.
Pleasantly surprised by this, not because I was going to get one but because Microsoft charge £60 for a wireless reciever which is in much lower demand that this will be, showing they aren't as big a blood sucking monster corporation as I thought they were.
I think that it's likely that it releases alongside Reach which will use some kind of gesture based squad command function. What better way to make it instantly sell millions?
Apparentaly this is to incite a feeling of 'impulse purchase'.
I don't know what to make of Natal, they've not shown enough of it for me to believe in it's ability to work. And seeing as most of the other 360 peripherals cost a pretty penny (HDD, Wireless Adapter, HD-DVD drive [before HD-DVD got curb-stomped] ) i don't think it'd be too feasible..unless they literally spend pennies making Natal.
