The one studio I didn't want to be involved with Natal...

...is immediately involved with Natal. Total joke factory, Yakuza-3-ruining, Alpha-Protocol-killing, Sonic-whoring SEGA has a brand new Natal game (read: prototype) to show off at E3 2010.

Head clown at Sega, Mike Hayes: "We asked our Japanese studio to create something for [Natal] which we'll show off at E3. They had a brilliant prototype up and running within six weeks. I mean a genuinely entertaining prototype you could just play.

I think Natal and the Sony Motion Controller allow us to do things that are more about multi, party gaming.

In a way, it's a move away potentially from the core. That's what we're actually getting good at. Mario & Sonic is a multi-party game - but it's actually good fun. Microsoft and Sony are telling us that actually, we don't have to spend $20 million to get things consumers like, because you can approach things with games that are repetitive fun - easy to pick up and pass around."

OH DEAR GOD HE JUST CALLED HIS GAMES REPETITIVE FUN SOMEBODY STOP GIVING THEM MONEY.

    AND DID YOU CATCH THIS:

Well, it's definitely not a game targeted at the 'hardcore gamers'.  And it seems it's going to be using both Move and Natal, so I doubt it'll do awesome with either of them, because they're kind of different from eachother.

Oh man. The fishing segments in Sonic Adventure are pretty much the second worst thing ever.

Someone needs to photoshop bling on this guy and make him hold a gun instead of a fishing pole, and put baggy sweat pants with him holding his nuts.  It would be a much better character.

Confirmed: Big the Cat is getting his own game (finally!).

But mreh... whatever. Let Sega continue on as a company I ignore as long as the games they create are successful to them. Its not like I'm itching for them to continue on with any of their old IPs.

It's good to see SEGA concentrating on shitty motion control party games rather than...oh, I don't know...TALKING AT ALL ABOUT ALIENS: COLONIAL MARINES.
