SNK (now SNK Playmore) published King of Fighters franchise as a crossover of various SNK fighter characters from Fatal Fury, Art of Fighting, Ikari Warriors, Psycho Soldier, etc. The first game, KOF '94, was released on the NEOGEO MVS arcade system. There have been yearly updates to the franchise since.
