A a great start to one of my favorite action RPG series.

The idea behind Kingdom hearts is kind of insane. Bring both sqaureenix and disney characters together in on big fantastic story. Does square pull it of? Yes. You'll spend your time going through about a dozen different disney themed worlds, fighting these things called heartless. In the game you play as Sora, a young spikey haired boy, He meets up with donald and goofy and set out to find soras lost friends Riku and kairi. The story is great, both sincere and exciting, offering about 40 hours of gameplay. The game behind the story however is flawed, mainly the camera is the source of all the trouble, it will get stuck in tight corners and sometimes go all crazy during fights. But when the camera is working properly, the game is actually pretty easy and you won't have to put too much though into your attacks. Though the last will provide a great satisfying end to it all. Overall Kingdom hearts does a remarkable job, bringing both sqaure and disney together in a mostly rewarding way ( though some of the sqaure characters don't get enough screen time).

When I first heard that the guys who made Final Fantasy and Disney were making a game, I was a little weary of the concept. Disney movies had started to slowly decrease in quality as the years had gone on (and as they had stolen more souls), and I was never really a fan of RPGs, so when I bought this game on a whim I was pleasantly surprised. Kingdom Hearts is an action role-playing game from Square and Disney. The story follows Sora, the player character, Donald Duck, your parties mage, and Goo...

Considering Getting A Keyblade Tattoo. Am I Crazy? 0

Fifteen years after the game's release, Kingdom Hearts still tugs at the heart strings at crucial points, but the game itself can be stupidly frustrating. A sub-par (at best) camera and repetitive grinding make the game somewhat difficult to enjoy, but if you enjoyed it when it originally came out you'll probably still enjoy it now....
