Is anyone else having a really hard time with these? I guess it could be input lag but I never have a problem with rock band etc.. For some reason I can not past one of these for the life of me!

@greennoodles: You have to time the button press almost as soon as the circle starts touching the glyphs, not when it is already fully on them otherwise you'll miss. That has been my experience anyway.

Anything above easy is at the very least a 50/50 fail for me, though I've not put points into the skill. Have any of you noticed it becoming significantly easier after dropping some points in?

I despise the damn things. I'v already spent a big chunk of change to remove curses.

Do the console versions have multiple save slots? I save before I open them. They haven't been worth the risk so far in Dalentarth/Erathell.

I have dumped a lot of points in the dispel skill and they aren't really any easier, it just gives you more attempts from what I can tell.

Ye, there seems to be some wierd input lag, like Tennmuerti said, don't aim for when you're actually on them. Having that said, at this point I just go for auto-try and hope they don't blow up with a curse. And ofc always save before you open them.

Look ---> Think ---> Plan ---> Execute

That's how you beat those nasty things. I had a really hard time with everything above average at first, but I'm getting quite good at it now.

It's all depending on luck. And if you're crafting your own gear or not. I chose not to craft and be dependent on loot alone. The magically sealed chests yield the most epics for sure and they're all sweet as all hell.

i never got the hang of it at all but i leveled my dispell skill up and now on hard i have an auto chance of 70% and i get 3 attempts so i just go with the auto attempts since that has much better odds than me actually succeeding if i where to try it manually

For a minute, I thought "Dispel Chests" would be a spell to get rid of boobs.

Personally after getting the dispell skill that removes bombs I completely stopped failing dispells of Hard chests.

I just always the auto option. Doesnt always work, but they are not that common in the world anyway.

That would be awful... unless I suppose it's man-boobs. Then it could be useful.

The worst thing about the dispelling thing is that the easy wards always have good loot, yet the very hard wards always have like... 1 white crafting item or a potion or some shit.

It's never worth the risk.

Glad that the achievement worked with the automatic attempt, after a few I just dumped enough points in dispel to get halfway to max then just save beforehand. At least with the finding hidden skill leveled up, it's easy after paying for the curse to be removed to just go to the nearby chests that have wards & make use of the immunity from the healer to just open them up without problem.
