Kirby's Adventure

Kirby's Adventure is a video game that consists of 4 releases

Add a Concept to Kirby's Adventure
Silent Protagonist

A silent protagonist is a character in a game who speaks no lines of dialogue, letting other characters tell the story in scripted moments or cutscenes.

Sprite

Sprites are 2D images used in video games. Most games used sprites as a means to display images until the advent of polygonal 3D gaming.

Anthropomorphism

Anthropomorphism is the concept of giving human-like attributes and/or motivation to non-human entities. Examples would be the sword Frostmourne of Warcraft lore, the character Frog from Chrono Trigger and characters from the Star Fox series.

Melee

From Beat-em-ups to fighting games to modern FPS, one dude hitting another has made an enjoyable pastime.

Not-So-Bad Guys

Characters that are initially portrayed as evil, but eventually turn out to be good or not as serious of a threat.

Overworld

An overworld is a simplified view of the game world, which lets the player move to different locations or levels. This is a system most commonly found in (older) RPG's.

2D

Sure, these days have almost every game sporting the newfangled 3D, but way back when, everyone had to live with plain old 2D. 2D, or two dimensions, limit the game to scrolling backgrounds, but some games even now make use of this basic concept.

Ground Pound

Ability to land on the ground with great force. Different variations apply.

Mascot

I demand a Luchadeer game.

Penguins

Penguins are creatures that live in various places throughout the world and also appear in several videogames, including Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction.

Waddle Dee

The most common enemy in the Kirby universe, they are the equivalent to Goomba's from the Mario universe.

Waddle Doo

The one-eyed cousin of the Waddle-Dee from the Kirby universe.

Jump

It's arguably the one move that symbolizes the medium to those outside it. The ability to jump, be it onto building, onto platforms, or onto skulls, is one of the all time most important abilities ever put in a video game.

Shape-Shifting

The ability to change shape. Humans shifting into animals is the most common type of shape shifting.

Sentient Plant

Plants that have at least some rudimentary thoughts or intelligence. They may be rooted or mobile, beneficial or dangerous.

Vore

Vore is when a creature swallows someone else whole (or at least puts in their mouth) while they are still alive. In the case of many fighting games, they are soon spit out afterwords. Some shooter games have giant aliens that swallows your ship whole and you must fight inside it.

Male Protagonists

This concept is for games where the main playable character is male.

Chiptunes

Chiptunes are the classic sounds of old school gaming. In recent years Chiptunes has evolved from game music, to music inspired by the sound of classic games.
