Knox' dense naivety however turns out to be a facade. Upon first meeting him he recognizes you as a vampire and starts rambling enthusiastically about how cool it all is and how he's working for a "really powerful vampire". He eventually tells you of some trouble he's having with a mysterious Asian vampire he was supposed to be following but who is now following him. The player can choose to 'take care of' this problem...
When you later speak with his master Bertram Tung he calls him "quite an actor" as he gleefully informs you he instructed Knox to manipulate you into doing their dirty work for them. If you're playing as a Malkavian you can work this out for yourself and call Knox out on it, but still choose to do the favour just for kicks.
