A unique boxing-themed strength-tester machine from Sega in 1981, where players punch a pressure-sensitive boxing bag controller at the correct time to measure their punching power.
Overview
KO Punch is a boxing-themed strength tester machine developed and released by Sega (Company) for arcades in October 1981. Based on classic electro-mechanical arcade punching bag games (of which Sega released one in 1962, known as Punching Bag), KO Punch features a digital gameplay mechanic where players pay attention to the boxer on the display and must hit the bag when he is front-and-center (otherwise, the recorded strength of the punch is weakened).
