    Overview

    The Kokiri are a tribe of forest-dwelling children that appear in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. They do not age into adulthood, and each is accompanied by a fairy. At the start of the game, Link lives among the Kokiri, though he is not a true Kokiri child. It is said that any Kokiri that leaves the forest will die, though whether this is true or not is a debatable subject. At the end of the game, members of the tribe are in attendance at the party taking place at Lon Lon Ranch, well outside the forest's boundaries in Hyrule Field.
