Shit, it's always sad to see a developer go down, especially if they make great games.

     Good night, sweet prince.

I'm not a fan of having other people lose their jobs, but i must say that i am somewhat pleased that this studio is getting shut down.

I remember seeing an article a few months ago of a Rockstar executive saying something like "serious games are the future". With GTA IV's success, as well as RDR's and L.A. Noire's, i was getting worried that we will no longer see crazy action R* games anymore.. so this piece of news might somehow influence R*'s "serious games" philosophy and discourage it.

A world without fun R* games is not a world worth living in.

Well technically they dont have to lose their jobs since they have been offered a job with the new owner.

I imagine that a rock star studio is handling the port.

You know, I am glad to hear that Team Bondi is dismantling. I find it hard to actaully play new cases because of the news. "Who did what? Was this rockstar? How many people quit because of this single game?"

Umm... what great game did they make?

    OOOH! BURRRNNN!!

Really though, yeah, we've heard numerous reports about their unfair practices and all that, and really, I believe LA Noire isn't all that great. It had a lot of things going for it, but the gameplay just kind of consistently sucked. Maybe I'm insensitive, but I'd rather see the next LA Noire being completely in Rockstar's hands.

Looks like they wont be making L.A. Noire 2.

They wouldn't have been making it anyways because Rockstar owns the IP (at least that's what I thought) and reports suggest that LAN's development soured relations between R* and Team Bondi.
