I have A Slip of the Tongue and it was a lot longer than I thought, but It's kind of dumb how there are achievements for the other case but you can't purchase it from the store. Do you think we'll someday be able to purchase either or both Slip of the Tongue and The Naked City?

I'm nowhere near to being done the main game so it's not bugging me right now but I can see it bugging me later on if they don't release The Naked City when I finish.

I would be surprised if they didn't release the pre-order cases if they put achievements in for them.

I'm sure they'll put The Naked City up for sale eventually, but it still sucks. People shouldn't be unable to S-Rank a game just because they didn't buy it twice.

Remember when there were all these debates as to whether or not Rockstar would release the GTA dlc to Playstation 3 owners? They're a business, they want your money.

Those DLC cases are massively overpriced on eBay right now, it's a form of touting really, these unobtainable pre-order bonuses need to stop.

They will probably bend over and patch it when enough people are moaning.

I would bought the extra cases anyway, so it doesn't really matter. 

On the official Rockstar L.A. Noire news site they stated every pre-order bonus will become available to buy. The only thing exclusive to pre-order are the 35mm film strips you get in the case with the Badge Pursuit challenge as they are a physical item.

They said they'll be releasing the DLC sometime soon after launch. It'll probably coincide with whatever that "Rockstar Pass" was that showed up on XBL briefly but no one was able to buy.

Hopefully the DLC will come soon. I don't have the game yet, so I don't mind waiting a bit. I'm guessing it will be much cheaper than what people are paying on ebay. I also assume the credit that Amazon was offering is more than the value of the exclusive case GameStop offered.

I hope it doesn't take them a year to release the preorder cases like it did with the Red Dead DLC.

So is it true that you have to get DLC achievements in order to have an S-Rank then? Because I was just having an argument with a friend the other day and we couldn't figure out if you could.
