College
LaDainian played for Texas Christian University, where he won several MVP awards, broke rushing and touchdown records and even a heisman trophy nomination. On top of that, he also led the TCU Horned Frogs to the school's first bowl win. He had a major impact to say the least.
NFL Career
Tomlinson has broken several NFL records:
- The single season touchdown record: 31
- Most points one NFL season: 186
LaDainian spent most of his NFL career as a San Diego Charger and became the household name for that team. But after constantly getting injured year after year, the Chargers gave up on him and didn't resign him for the 2010 season. A free agent, Tomlinson was picked up by the New York Jets for the 2010 season.
