Overview
Lady is a character from the Devil May Cry series who first appears in the third installment. She is mostly a friendly opponent to Dante throughout the game, but also serves the game as a medium to the narration. Her real name is Mary and her last name is unknown. Lady's father is Arkham, a supernatural scholar who works with Dante's brother, Vergil. She renounces her real name when her father kills her mother, and names her rocket launcher after her mother - Kalina Ann.
In Devil May Cry 4, she makes a short appearance asking for Dante and Trish's help. Though in Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition, Lady makes her playable debut, as she and Trish take over the roles of Nero and Dante respectively in their own campaign. Beyond an opening and ending cutscene, however, their campaign has no story and simply follows the same set of missions as the Nero/Dante version.
