During his active years as a game developer, Larry Froistad Jr. designed the acclaimed strategy titles Siege and M.A.X.In May 1995, following a custody dispute with his ex-wife, he killed his 5 year old daughter, Amanda Froistad in what was supposed to look like an house fire. In March 1998, Larry posted an detailed confession of the murder to an Internet Self-help group for problem drinkers and in October 1998 he was sentenced to 40 years in prison.
