Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 gigz
    6 Gigs of RAM
    9800 GT 1 Gig of DDR3 (BFG)

....I heard the game only supports P2P, laggier than a 360 game, achivements don't work, and even on top line PCs it slows down to a crawl.  I don't want a case of UT3 in which the entire community is dead within a week or two.

Do I click it Confirm or do I back out and wait for reviews and a Steam sale?  Make me do it bitches.

P2P? Pay to play? Uhh no.

Anyways, I bought it and it's basically a console port at this time. It's still in beta mode for PC but they don't have any graphical settings, so no windowed mode or quality sliders. Only a couple of servers are online, and you can't change teams.

The game's kind of fucked right now, but they said they were going to patch it. So you can pay for a kind of broken game now, or wait till it's fixed and pay 2 extra bucks.

Your choice. I've only played it once though...seems like it could be fun.

@TheMustacheHero: Peer to Peer fool.  I can't playing a PC game without dedicated servers...I don't play any game that only supports P2P, what is this 1995?

Gah, I will keep Steam on this page, I dunno what to do....I love Westerns as I used to be a Cowboy in my dreams and when I was a kid, I used to be a gunslinger saving cute girls from evil William Smith in 4th grade.  I shot him in the neck.

Any word on if Steam OSX will support this game?  If it's a yes, I click right now regardless...none of the Steam forums say anything about that.

I just wish it had windowed mode and team switching. But those are apparently "coming soon" in patches.

I doubt that such a small team has the time and money to port it. Then again, it's coming to PS3? Maybe months from now if the game is successful is my guess.

I heard the game only supports P2P

The developers have said it's P2P while in beta and dedicated servers is a top priority.

I mean servers on the list, no clue if they are indeed online. Apparently the server list only shows games hosted locally, but I could connect with some bros in CA...

    @TheMustacheHero:
Do you really have no idea how player to player connections work? There are no servers for this game. When you create a game you are the host so everyone who joins the game is connecting to you. The games you see are people who deciding to host a game instead of joining one.

Aw crap, it's coming to PS3?  Most my friends are on PS3...gah, is this game worth $30?  I much rather play a shooter with KB+M and the ability for free DLC, plus I can watch porn in the background while I play or be idle, much like in L4D.

Don't mean to bump something oldish, but I'd have made basically the same thread anyway, are people still playing this on PC and such? Is it worth picking up? I have a 13 inch Macbook Pro, running windows. My graphics card's just a 9400m, but it does the job for quite a few games. 2.26 ghz core 2 duo, and 4 gigs of ram.. what do y'all think? Should I grab it for a console instead or what?
