Barely any blood, no visceral(sp) body damage and dead zombies dissapearing instantly.

What were the reasons behind this anyway? L4D made it through the OFLC fine.

Damn, almost reminds me of late 90s, early 00s FPSes with the lack of gore/dismemberment and vanishing corpses. Seems a little bland.

I didn't really think it was too big of a deal until I watched the Left 4 Dead 2 quick look.  This is quite unfortunate.

I don't even know what having the bodies disappear achieves. It's not like the game has become less violent because your still killing a ton of zombies.

FYI: For anyone who wants to know why exactly it's censored in Australia, it's because the old farts who run the censor board can't be fucked bringing in an R rating for games, the highest in Australia is MA 15+

Some of the most awesome parts of a demo was getting a machette and running through and crowd watching limbs and heads fly. And shooting off a zombies back to show their spine was sick as well.

Augh... was getting excited after seeing the Quick Look here, but this is pretty lame.

I wouldn't buy that game on Australia, but that is Australia's fault.

Though as far as know a lot of Australian players (or players from that area of the world) tend to play together does anyone know when you can play the normal version with a player with a censored version? Im assuming so but its not for sure. The same for mods, will there need to be a Austrialian version of a mod for it work or maybe they cant play any mod that changes blood/fade out time for bodies etc.
