There's no way it's fake. Whoever made these would have had to know about the setting, the new type and the melee weapons from the trailer and then spend months building models to match them.

Anyone else think that the Frying pan is going to sky rocket in popularity ?

Anyone else think it doesn't look as polished as L4D? Perhaps it's cos it's all day-time so you never get the fancy flashlight-induced shadowing...

It makes Source appear as primitive as it is I suppose, rather than hide it under fancy effects. Zombie crowds still look good as usual though.

Ok nevermind that's not it, reached the indoor/dark part with the shadows on... It still didn't look as good somehow. Movie filter missing maybe?

Frying pan has huge delay to the sound. Is there no standard melee spam here? Just the actual weapons instead?

It does look very bland in places, and models do look odd, but I doubt it will stay that way. I am sure it will get some serious optimization first before add any extra polish onto it. it sounds like there's a lot more going on in this game behind the surface, what with the modifications to the AI Director.

Episode 2's daylight levels looked great, I see no reason why this wont also in the end.

The sound of the frying pan is oh so satisfying.
