Left 4 Dead puts players in the role of one of four survivors during a zombie apocalypse. Survivors will depend on co-operation to get from one safe house to another, while facing hordes of "Infected", four of which can be controlled by human players in certain game modes.
I don't know actually. I must say I am best with the assault rifle, so probably that one. The hunting rifle and auto shotgun are respectively awesome too.

I honestly don't like the Uzi. Don't get me wrong. I can see why you said they are probably the best weapons in the game, but I have to stick to my Benelli.
All of the tier 2 weapons are awesome. But I usually go with the Assault Rifle unless it's the rooftop scene for no mercy, then I usually pick up the hunting rifle.

The reason those are the two best weapons comes down to the human inability to not shoot our teammates. Oh god, how often have I momentarily stood (or knelt, it happens either way) in front of some tool with a shotgun to get myself blasted into incapacitation by his "AW3SUM roFL SH@WTGUM."
That being said, I am sure there are those that shotgun responsibly. I just get stuck with the morons a lot.
For the longest time I thought that the inclusion of the Hunting Rifle was ridiculous. I mean, how can you take on a horde of zombies with a weapon that's more finely tuned for pinpoint accuracy? I wanted something to mow down crowds of fools with!
Then, I actually started to play around with it and found that penetration + one shot kills go a long way at times. I doubt a group rolling with 4 Hunting rifles would be very effective; however, when one of the members of the group is wielding one it can actually be pretty helpful and effective.
