I was looking to buy Left 4 Dead, and maybe I made the mistake not to buy it before Christmas - but this game is not in stock anywhere in Canada. Not in stock on amazon.ca, bestbuy, or futureshop - in store or online. It's January 13th and it's been out of stock since shortly before Christmas. I have looked at store stock on futureshop across Canada, and no stores have the game. There are plenty of the 360 version, but none of the PC version - bestbuy.ca doesn't even list it anymore. Anyone know whats going on with this?

It would be absolutely ridiculous if they didn't sell the PC game in Canada...maybe the game is becoming a reality and it's all starting in Canada!

I don't really know but then again you can just buy it on Stream. Yea you get hit by the CAN to US dollars conversion, on the + side you don't pay taxes.

yeah its a popular game, I live in Canada to and have had no problem finding it and usually see it at  any electronic store i happen to pass by. Maybe just a shortage in your area? if you live on the east coast or somewhat far away from the border maybe it just takes longer for it to get there, i dunno.

Thats fucked bro, i dont know what to tell you. I live in Hamilton and I've seen it to buy at local rogers video and blockbuster stores.  Havent really checked futureshop or best buy though.

i have left 4 dead pc and im toronto so i dont know wat to tell you maybe its just fate that you not get that game

Im with  RenegadeSaint  on this one  Steam is the way to go for PC you can back it up and put it on  a DVD and when you Hard drive crashes you just hit set up and installs the back up as if you bought it. presto blamo you L4 D is reinstalled

Get it off Steam. Hell, you should've gotten it before JAnuary 2nd, it was on sale for around 35 euros/USD.

Might as well get it off Steam. The retail version just comes in a stupid little DVD case that's not even worth showing off.

This was a game that probably retailers did not expect to be this popular. I bought it at my Best Buy in Vancouver and there are plenty of stock there...just be patient, more will be coming.

Don't get it off Steam - our exchange rate sucks, you'll be spending more than you need to.

hey they have it stock now..I was having hard time trying to find a copy of Fallout 3... finally found it at Missisauga Bestbuy... and it was the Collector's Edition :)

I'm guessing it was because of high demand during Christmas season.
