Anyone else dying to get off work so they can try LoG out? :-)
That was my plan for today... Unfortunately I can't download the game from Steam at the moment as it is still flagged as Pre-Order in my library, although you can purchase it in steam since 2 hours in my region... Started to download the stand alone installer but this might take some time as the dev's site seems to get hammered at the moment and therefore I have a lousy download rate... But hey "Patience is a Virtue" they say...

I got full speed off the Humble Bundle link they give you when pre-ordering.
Hmm...hopefully the download woes will be sorted out by the time I'm off work. :-)

We're looking into the issue of Steam preorder keys not being activated yet. Just a moment please :)
@WilltheMagicAsian:
The download rate on the humble link now jumped from 156 KB/s to 2,5 MB/s for me, so I should be finished within the next two minutes... Hooray!

Haha, unlucky! It just went live on Steam.

Okay then I'll just download it again through Steam... and as Steam is giving me a download rate of 5,6 MB/s I should be finished in two minutes... again :-)
I hope I don't just get dominated by this game...I'm not that familiar with the genre. :-)
You guys got me all excited now for a game I was probably going to skip... but your excitement is exciting. Count me in after work!!
Played about an hour as soon I got it downloaded and installed... Riding an old-school RPG nostalgia high right now. Big ol' grin on my dopey face. :)
Played about an hour so far. Having a blast.
One thing that has me excited is that when you start a new game there is an option to choose "Dungeon." Only the choice "Grimlock" is available right now, but that leaves me hopeful we'll see some expansions.
@Fearbeard: Almost Human said they are working on a map editor so people can make their own dungeons and they said they will probably release more at a later date.
I downloaded it, but I wont bother playing it as I go on holliday tomorrow morning. Im dying to play it though, just have to wait 10 days ^^
Already cleared the first 3 floors, sure picked up in difficulty quick :P Pretty good though, have some nitpicks but nothing major. Actually I think my biggest issue so far is the lack of avatar-images, especially for the non-humanoids (as most of them also look retarded).
I'm a couple hours in. There isn't much enemy variety, and the environments look similar, but these negatives don't have much of an impact on the game. I'd also like some more avatar options for the non-human species and the controls are a little clunky (though for this type of game they are very streamlined). Everything else is top notch. The loot is really well done. It has a good amount of variety, which allows you to prioritize what you want to spec towards, but it's not overwhelming. The combat is fun, and unique, although I haven't gotten entirely used to the control scheme so I sometimes find myself backing into someone's arrow or spear. If you have any experience with RPGs the stat system here is intuitive and skills, attributes, ect. are competently explained via the UI. Most of the puzzles have been pretty easy yet well constructed and there were a couple that I thought were pretty smart. So far so good.
My Favorite puzzle so far was in on the second floor:
