Leisure Suit Larry: Love for Sail is the first game in its series to continue with the story from the previous game (Leisure Suit Larry 6)
The main storyline is almost identical to the previous games except for character changes and the setting. In Love for Sail, Larry is a passenger on a cruise ship which many famous people are among him. Examples of parodied people in this game are "Drew Baringmore" (Drew Barrymore), "Victorian Principles" (Victoria Principal) and "Annette Boning" (Annette Bening). Other characters that are seen around the ship are: James Bond, The Archie Comics Gang, Sailor Moon and Ron Jeremy. Ron Jeremy acts as your mentor in this game, giving you tips and advice.
