Overview
Liberation Maiden SIN is a direct sequel to Liberation Maiden (Game), one of an assortment of games created for Level-5 (Company)'s Guild 01 (Game) collection for the Nintendo 3DS (Platform). The original game was a shooter developed by Suda51 and Grasshopper Manufacturebut the sequel is a visual novel for the PlayStation 3 (Platform) and Vita produced by 5pb. SIN stars a new male protagonist named Kiyohito Kaidou who is the childhood friend of Shoko Ozora (Character), the previous game's heroine, and features a variety of new characters. The development of Liberation Maiden SIN was handled by 5pb but Suda51 was involved in planning for the title and Yusuke Kozaki (Person) returned to provide character designs. SIN was initially released on December 5, 2012 in Japan for the PlayStation 3 and an enhanced ported for the PlayStation Vita was published two years later in 2014 that included additional artwork among other improvements.
