no lyrics in your imported songs? thats absolutley fucking retarded does anyone know if a patch will be available for this game so that they can add lyrics to the imported songs

this game had so much potential to get it right with the ability to import your own songs but nooo RUSH YOUR FUCKING GAMES OUT MICROSOFT YOU MOTHERFUCKERS

Please inform me of how they could possibly have an accurate database of thousands upon thousands upon thousands (you get the idea) of song lyrics. There are too many songs out there with too many different version to even make this possible.

However, with their current system, when you use your own songs, it uploads it to their servers. When they see a song is popular they wil possibly be making downloadable lyrics possible. But don't expect a note chart measuring your accuracy.

This "game" is fun. It's karaoke with a twist.

Basically, the database of lyrics/songs is all they have to sell you. Why would you ever buy a DLC song if you could use one of your own files and get the exact same functionality?

That said, songs can have lyrics embedded into tags on the file. Why not have the game read those tags? It wouldn't be able to sync up the lyrics exactly with the song, but some sort of onscreen display would at least help.

It's understandable. It would be difficult to to keep a datbase of all those songs. Plus, if they're your songs, you'll probably know most of the lyrics anyway.
