    LL Cool J

Person » credited in 2 games

His real name James Todd Smith, L Cool J is a rapper and actor who began his rise to prominence in the 1980s.

Dont' all pages need to have a connection to a game?

There's no games listed on the LL Cool J page and just wondering why he has a page if no one bothered to include any games he was in?

True. So is "Mama Said Knock You Out" supposed to be a song in that UFC game then? If not, then this page probably shouldn't exist.

I've spent more time thinking about LL Cool J than I have playing video games.

He was in an episode of Oz which starred Dean Winters who looks a lot like the original Max Payne. There's your connection.

According to MobyGames, he contributed music to Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX and True Crime: New York City. Not enough to warrant a page on Giant Bomb.

As long as one of his songs appeared in some game, I think that's okay for him be on GB. I just wish that people would list the games he's been in before they make the page.

Moby Games lists 2 games he's been credited in - both for licensed music. Which isn't enough to warrant a page (Jeff confirms this here).

So on that note, I proclaim that this page must journey to the realms of the page graveyard.

Um, his music ALSO appeared in Def Jam: Fight for NY...which I can't remember completely, but I'm pretty sure he's credited in that game for more than just having "Mama Said Knock You Out" in it.  I don't have the credits in front of me, so I can't tell you if that's true or not...but I think he was.  If anyone has a copy of the game and wants to fire it up, go for it.

Then again, I'm disappointed to see that Sticky Fingaz doesn't have a page on Giant Bomb.  I think I should change that.  Onyx was the shit back in the day.
