The Locust Queen is the head of the Locust Horde.
While the locust are a race of disgusting looking brutes, the locust queen is a more humanoid looking female with slightly pale skin. Although she only makes one physical appearance in Gears of War 2, her voice can be heard at the end of the first Gears of War, and all throughout Gears of War 2 through narrated cinematics and a few levels where her voice is heard over loud speakers, until Cole tunes her out so he can give his own "dignified speech." She has unknown connections to Adam Fenix. A possible plot twist in the third installment of Gear of War would be that the locust queen is in fact Marcus's mother, this information has not been confirmed by anyone working on the project.Locust Queen games
