In the follow-up to Lost Planet, players explore new environments as they see the story through the perspective of different groups of pirates trying to survive on E.D.N. III.
Capcom are giving early buyers of Lost Planet 2 in Japan a small DLC treat, the company have announced that the first print run of the game will include a product code which makes download content of two maps free to download, The maps in question will later be offered as paid downloads later.
The bonus content will be included with both the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game in Japan.
Island 902
This is an online stage from the original Lost Planet. The stage consists of a set of islands connected by bridges. One awesome aspect of LP2 is that you can move in the water, adding to the combat possibilities.
Spiral Corridor
This stage is set in a NEVEC ocean development facility. Players can navigate between the many levels of the facility by using "aqua catapults." Yet again, the all new water-based navigation and traversing is one of the keys aspects in this stage.
Hopefully they'll end up doing something similar in the West.
Those who pre-order at Gamestop in the US get RE's pesky Wesky.
I am so tired of DLC, it was okay when it took months for it to come out, but this DLC on launch day BS is starting to grate on my nerves, Why in the hell would you not want those two map packs to be included with the full game?
I don't like being told where i can preorder a game, if im correct this is only available in GAME (in UK) who suck, even though i have pre-ordered, i probably wont get these maps.
@masterpaperlink: yeah learn to use Capcoms Forums some time :P
