    Wow...that's one hefty update. Looks to hopefully solve some LP2's most glaring problems too.

    Some of the changes seem unnecessary (More attack power and less damage? Really? There are people who have been complaining about stuff like that?), but a lot of them seem really nice. Now, I'm actually considering picking the game up.

    The only thing holding me back is the way the split-screen works. It supposedly gives each player one fourth of the screen, using the other half for mini-maps. People have reportedly been having trouble seeing what's going on on 50" HDTVs, and on the 28" SDTV I game on... well, I don't think I'd see shit.

    Still, I'll probably get the game. The first Lost Planet wasn't co-op, and I had a blast with that.

    Might finally be able to finish it on hard with 3 people, lacking that 4th person has been holding us back.

    so they are basically making the single player easier, which i guess is cool since the AI that "helps" you is all but useless according to most reviews, making the game much harder than it should be

    @Icemael:
    It's just another precaution to help make the game easier, I imagine. Regarding the more attack power and less damage tweak. They obviously felt the sting from most of the criticism and are now throwing every opportunity to make the game more accessible.

    @Abyssfull: Yeah, but I feel it's the wrong thing to change. The difficulty was a symptom, not the problem.

    I like the idea for the respawn points but other then that I am not worried about any of the rest of it.

    Still no crouch hold/toggle setting? I'm a little dissappointed. Other than that sounds good!

    Sounds like fixes that might get me to pick up the game. I usually like to beat games solo at least once before going online, and it looks like they are going to make that easier now.
