That's right, this strange MMO is now open for any and all to play though with a small monthly fee of 3 Euros. The Beta is, as he calls it, "feature complete" meaning everything that is planned for final release is in full swing. I'll tell you right now, that as soon as I'm getting home I am downloading this - it just looks too cool.

Love now in open beta
I will definitely be checking this out. I remember seeing some videos on this last year and it had me really interested. Also, I find it amusing how people are saying "I won't pay for a beta" and yet anyone who has purchased an MMO at it's launch, or close to it's launch, since WoW came out have been doing exactly that.
Anyone here played it? What was it like?
I'd also like to second the raised eyebrow towards the "I won't pay for a beta" crowd. It's a one-man project people. If you're interested in the game and want to play it, surely it's not too much to chip in to help the poor guy pay for the bandwidth.
I played in the alpha, and it was very confusing. Once I got the hang of things, it seemed like it had a whole lot of potential. At that point, the servers were getting reset too often for me to be compelled to do anything significant, but the potential was there. It seems like the game has gotten a lot better since then, though. I'll have to check it out.
I sort of feel like this is the game I've always been wanting to play.
That went pretty much exactly the way I expected it to. Props.
EDIT: I guess Love is officially released and FREE.

Wow. Never heard of this. I looked into it, and I'm just in awe of this guy's dedication. Shit is really, really impressive. I hope he's successful!
