The Lylat System is where the events of the Star Fox series take place. It is a planetary system in the center of the Milky Way Galaxy, it consists of 11 planets 3 "sectors" one sun named Lylat and several other important locations.

The layout of the Lylat System in different Star Fox games has never remained consistent; as is evident in the pictures.

In Star Fox, the planets in the Lylat System include:

Corneria
Titania
Fortuna
Macbeth
Venom

As well as outer-space levels:

Sector X
Sector Y
Sector Z

As well as certain specialized levels:

Asteroid [Belt]
Asteroid [Belt, different layout]
Meteor
Black Hole

In Star Fox 64, the planets in the Lylat System consist of:

Corneria
Fichina
Titania
Katina
Macbeth
Aquas
Zoness

As well as outer-space levels:

Meteo
Solar
Bolse
Area 6
Sector X
Sector Y
Sector Z

From this list we can see that there are several recurring levels:

Only one level was left out of Star Fox 64 that appeared in the Lylat System in Star Fox; Fortuna. All the specialized levels were left out as well, and many more were added to the game.
