Despite the bug's,Madden is a great footbal game.
Well Maddens back for another installment in the NFL Madden series.After watching some gameplay at E3 and hearing Shanker and Brian Ekberg talk about how great this game was,I thought it was going to be amazing!But I was sadly disappointed,but don't get me wrong this game is great but it just doesn't live up to what I was expecting.This game will never live up to being one of the best Madden game's ever,like EA said.But now down to the Gameplay,it's awesome.This might not be the best Madden game ever,but it is probably the best Madden Gameplay wise.Well it has made it easier to pass and run.And the EA backtrack and the Rewind system works perfectly.I Have not yet once listened to a EA Backtrack and done what they told me and the play still mess up.The hitstick and highlight still work great and they,to me,are flawless but I have met many thing's that are flawed.One thing is that sometime's when you run it and you get hit by someone it'll sometimes glitch you back a couple of yards and also sometimes when you pass it the receiver,the freaking guy just keeps running,and SOMETIMES your RB will do a screen and when you throw it to him he just stands there and let's the ball bounce off of him!Gah,I'm getting so pissed!Well now for some more hating on Madden...I think I'm the only one that hated Chris Collinsworth's commentary.To me,it's abysmal.You can easily tell he's reading off a script and since my favorite team is the Titan's,I'm frequently running the ball with Vince Young and Chris always say's"I had no idea that he could scramble so good"and sometimes when I pass it he say's this legendary line"This guy is one of the best passer's in the Leauge"...dumb.But he does do a great job on the EA Backtrack's,I fount those great and if they aren't in Madden '10 then I'll be very disappointed.Some other annoyances of mine was extremely boring Superstar Mode and the same Franchise mode as last year.One thing I want to talk about is the new Madden IQ and the TD Celebrations.First,Madden IQ,it suck's.It is hugely flawed and really doesn't need to come back in the next installment.Next,the TD Celebrations.It is really unuseful,I mean what does it do except taunt.That mean's there is no reason to celevrate....it's just pointless.
Multiplayer:Well this is probably the worst online Madden so far.It's loaded with laggy multiplayer and poorly done online leagues.To be honest this onling is just unplayable.If you're enjoying it then you need to teach me how to enjoy it.
Re-play value:Well unless your into Sports then you wont like this game to much.The re-play value is little unless you get into the Superstar mode or the Franchise mode.I love the Franchise mode so I'm still having some fun with it.
End It!All-in-all this game is a rent for a sports fan and a pass for a non sports fan.The game is fun at first but after a little bit you start realize all the bug's and AI screw up's.
