Madden Cover Athletes So Cursed They Are Falling Apart

This year's Madden game will feature two athletes, Larry Fitzgerald and Troy Polamalu, for the first time ever. My curious question of course is if they each made as much money from the deal as Brett Farve did last year. Also, does two people mean double the curse? They certainly don't look healthy, what with the evaporating body mass and angry eyes. Perhaps Madden games now take place next to a particle accelerator. Attached are some screenshots of these virtual Super Bowlers in action.

Not a Madden fan, but I actually dig the style of the boxart.

Plus, Michael Crabtree was treated similarly on the cover of NCAA 10, and I'm a Texas Tech student. So boo yah.

Ugh, I hate both of these fucking teams with a passion. Wait...maybe this means they'll both get injured this year. Yay.

I kind of like the art style of the box though.

It's cool that Troy Polamalu is on the cover, but besides that it's pretty damn ugly.

I think the box looks great! Great change in pace for that series. I stopped playing at Madden 04 though.

Double the trouble... I think the curse is over, take that Madden curse. I wonder what the Wii version box cover will look like? They're going with a different art style for Madden 10 for the Wii.

Okay, seeing "Madden 10" printed on a box has me leaning to the "thats such a stupid sounding name" side of the argument. Madden 2010. Just looks better.
