Please write your impression of the game. I would like to hear your thoughts on it as I am interested in this game but have not received the code :( 
I would love to know the answers to these questions: 
 

1. How does a 256 player online match feels like?
2. Do people actually work together as a team and follow the CO's commands?
3. If you played in a leadership position then I'll to know how does it feel and if it's fairly easy to issue commands?
4. How well the network handles a 256 player matches? 
5. Most importantly, Is the gameplay good?

there's a strict confidentiality agreement for beta testers. not sure how many people are brave enough to break it. 

Well someone on this forums, a super cool guy, lets call him DrDemon, was gonna give me a Beta key because hes awesome.  *wink wink*

Isn't it a preorder bonus for GameStop customers? I preordered it. I think I get the code in a week. I'll let you know my impressions.

Hopefully it doesn't become Battlefield with 250 players

Oh man those animations and origins look terrible. Whoever did those should be fired.

im getting the qore subscription and it starts the 14th so there will be a lot more news then :)

I just got my code today.... And I'm still installing.....

I assume they're going to nail the engine and the fact that the multiplayer part actually works before they drop in the polish. Well I hope so.

I download the beta, but every time I try to download the update it never works.  I tried dozens of times as well as reinstalling the beta again.  I have no idea what's going on and it's making me kind of angry at the moment.

I've got a key sitting in my inbox. Thing is, I'm also in the Uncharted and LBP Water betas. I'm so divided with time, I don't know if I can stretch to the MAG beta too. Hopefully this weekend!

So is no one else here having trouble downloading the update?  It always ends in a disconnection for me and I starting to get REALLY frustrated about it.

ive been downloading the initial update (the 2gb one) for just about two hours now- it is on

mine disconnected once so I set my ps3 to get the 2gig one before i went to sleep and it was done in the morning. Not sure exactly how long it took to download, but im guessing about 4 hours. Try setting the auto shut down to 5 hours maybe?
 
Game is awesome so far. Holding the fort with a well coordinated team is so much fun.

CitizenKane: lol whaaaaat? ok somethings up then... Is it using the wireless mode? Try hooking it up wired if you haven't already.

It's fun, but it just feels like Modern Combat with a few extra features plopped on. Again, it is fun but don't be ready to be blown away.

so far i left it for about  5 hours then had to switch it off, turned it back on and so far im on 44% - lol

  @CitizenKane: What I used to do at home for a stronger signal was up the wireless USB thing that came with the router, in the laptop, that got a pretty awesome signal, then use the Ethernet port of the laptop to the PS3.
 Although what exactly is your issue? I'm not in the beta or anything like that so can't say, but have you tried deleting the original download assuming I read your post right, the 32mb one, then going again?

    I'm not bumping this thread, im posting on it so it would drop down to the buttom of the forum list in a few minutes (at the moment its stuck at the top)
