Overview
As a broom-wielding witch searching for an evil wizard you collect money to buy power-ups and extra lives. Along the way you encounter unfriendly porcupines and giant teddy bears.
Critical Reception
Electronic Gaming Monthly issued the scores of 7,7,7,7 adding, "...a decent shooter with a really strange premise and background. Although you're operating without potions and shields, the quality and pace of the blaster action is up-to-par with the majority of titles on the market ".
Released late in the TurboGrafx-16's life cycle, Magical Chase is considered to be one of the harder to find games on the system. Even the Gameboy Color and PC ports are considered to be rare.
