Are there levels or gear to be gained?

I read previously that there is very little replay value in magicka and i am curious what the main goal of the campaign is as that was not clear from the QL at all.

@Questionable: No levels, some gear, but mostly all magic all the time!

Word of warning though: While it is great fun in co-op, in singleplayer it becomes brutally difficult.

I bought it all during the sale for i don't remember how much but i think it was less than that. Sad thing is that my computer can't even run it but i still think it looks awesome and can't wait to eventually play it haha

Your computer can't run Magicka? Are you sure?

@Rolyatkcinmai: It's a crappy two year old laptop, is Magicka not that taxing? I can play torchlight just fine but i know that has like a whole netbook mode and everything.

I mean it's not any more taxing than Torchlight... It's a cheap downloadable game. My phone could run it no problem.

@thoseposers @Rolyatkcinmai:That is not true. Look at the minimum system requirements (8800 or X1900). I know it looks pretty average, but for some reason (shitty coding I imagine) it requires a decent computer to run well. I can run Torchlight very well, but this game crawls along even at low resolutions. If you don't believe me go look at the Steam forums. There is a huge thread of people complaining because they can't run the game on their laptops because their graphics cards aren't good enough. Definitely try the demo before you buy it.
