Just wondering if Magicka has gotten more ironed out by now. I heard a lot of good things about the game and i loved the demo, but for all the good things people have said, there is a equal amount of bad things that has followed. Most of which has been performance issues, online lag and so on.
Magicka
Game » consists of 6 releases. Released Apr 14, 2011
A satirical fantasy action-adventure in which you and up to three friends take on The Forces of Evil by wielding eight elements of magick and combining them in unique ways.
Magicka after all the patches, is it safe to buy now?
The only bug that made it unplayable to me was the fact that the subtitles didn't work for the ones that wasn't the host.
With that fixed, I'd say go for it.
" Had some issues with it at the start, but I've almost beat it now and haven't experienced any more problems with it, other than the lack of antialiasing. Looks like their patches have covered the vast majority of issues, since I don't see much people complaining anymore. "Guess you could force AA through your driver. I did that on Mass Effect 2 so i'm guessing it should also be doable in Magicka.

" It was worth buying when it was still buggy as hell. So yes, doubly so now. "When i heard people talk on podcasts about the game that was the general sense i got from most people who played it.

Thanks for your input guys.
" Yea its fine now, just the other day I played through the entire campaign co-op with a friend, no crashes or anything. "Playing it co-op was one of my reasons for getting it, so that sounds pretty damn sweet.
" i didn't even encounter that many bugs when i played through it, and there have been like 4 patches since then. all i got were 2 crashes to desktop when stacking up a ton of grease spells and then laying fire mines inside of it "Funny, i just read this on Steam in the game update section.
" You can now play as the Mea Culpa wizard, wielding a powerful The bug staff and the less powerful Broken Sword. A new magick in the same theme has also been added... the unholy Crash to Desktop . "
