Mako

In Final Fantasy VII, Mako is a liquid form of Lifestream that has been processed as an energy source through machines known as mako reactors.

Locations

Corel Prison

Corel Prison is located below the Gold Saucer amusement park on the West continent in Final Fantasy VII. The prison is home to anyone who breaks the law during a visit to the Gold Saucer, the only way to get out is to win a Chocobo race.
Cosmo Canyon

Cosmo Canyon is a spiritual town located in the heights of the canyon on the Western continent in Final Fantasy VII. This is Red XIII's (or Nanaki as he is know) home town where his Grandfather Bugenhagen lives.
Fort Condor

Fort Condor is located near the Mythril mines on the East continent in Final Fantasy VII. Fort Condor is where a small faction fights against the ShinRa company which takes place in a RTS style gameplay.
Gaia

Gaia is the planet on which Final Fantasy VII takes place. The planet is portrayed as a living being, and the Lifestream its blood and spirit.
Gongaga Village

Gongaga village is located in the South-West area of the Western continent in Final Fantasy VII. This is the home town of Zack Fair and also has a trashed Mako reactor.
Great Glacier

The Great Glacier is a massive expanse of Arctic-like wasteland located on the Northern continent in Final Fantasy VII. This is where the party ends up after the snowboarding segment of the game and is where a lot of items can be found.
Kalm

A small village near Midgar.
Mideel

Mideel is located on a small island in the South-East of the Final Fantasy VII map. It is home to a doctor that the party believes to have found Cloud after he fell into the lifestream.
Midgar

Midgar is a city that serves as the capital of Gaia - where the Final Fantasy VII universe takes place.
Mount Nibel

Mount Nibel is a mountain located North of Nibelheim on the Western continent in Final Fantasy VII. This is where the famous incident took place at the Mako reactor which is high up in the mountains.
Nibelheim

The hometown of Cloud Strife and Tifa Lockheart.
North Corel

North Corel is a former mining town located near the mountains on the West continent in Final Fantasy VII. The town was burnt down many years ago after its villagers rebelled against the construction of a Mako reactor, it is also Barret's hometown.
Underwater Reactor

The Underwater Reactor is located under the ocean just off the coast of Junon on the East continent in Final Fantasy VII. The party travels here to stop the transportation of huge Materia that is to be used to blow up Meteor.
Wutai

Wutai is a Western Town in the RPG Final Fantasy VII.
