    Mari0 was built by Maurice Guégan and is featured on his website Stabyourself.net where he documents the development process and hosts the files (and source code) for download. According to the creator, the game is "A complete from scratch recreation of Super Mario Bros. with a focus on perfectly imitating the feel the 1985 classic gave us.", however with the added features of Portal game elements, the epitomous Portal gun and hats.
