The 2nd DLC is out now for Mario Kart 8! Along with this, 200cc is out as well and holy shit, 200cc is hard as balls.

That Baby Park though, calling it simple just doesn't quite cut it.

Haven't tried much of 200cc yet, so looking forward to that.

200cc Baby Park is just incredible.

200cc in general is just the most awesome thing.

Holy crap 200cc is fast. It's crazy seeing the other karts zooming around. The DLC tracks are cool as well.

I thought 200cc was part of a free update? It's not popping up for me.

@turtlebird95: For me neither, but did you finish every cup in 150cc? Because I never did and I think that might be why it isnt showing up yet. And I bought both dlc-packs.

I'm super super happy they brought back Baby Park. That was my favorite clusterfuck from Double Dash and seeing it get new life in Mario Kart 8 with 200cc is just... it's a wild ride man. That's the kind of bullshit I can get behind, haha.

@lestephan: I read on Twitter apparently you need to unlock mirror mode to get it, which I think you do by beating all the cups on 150cc. Apparently you can still use 200cc online though.

You should also be able to select 200cc in single player versus mode, if what I've read is correct (that's what I jumped in to to give it a go, but I own the DLC and have long completed 150cc)

Man, 200cc is the kind of edge of your seat, barely in control, psychotic blur of nonsense that pretty much embodies what I love about games.

So far I really like all the tracks except the sand one after baby park.

I got to play a few of them online, I think they did a great job with Baby Park. I hate all sand tracks forever.

I tried out 200cc but it's pretty much impossible for me. Seems like crazy fun when you're in the mood for it, though.

Super Bell Subway and Big Blue are easily the best tracks of the bunch. Wild Woods in a close 3rd.

Its amazing that for 12 $ you get basically a half of Mario kart, plus those snes. gba remakes courses may just be consider brand new ,its crazy.

I was expecting 200cc to be fast but not that fast. I basically have to relearn how to take my turns on almost all tracks. That's awesome.

The new tracks are great, I especially love the Big Blue track. The music on it is amazing.

Does the CC rating just make the karts faster, or does it ramp up the difficulty also?

I love 200cc. Don't think I'll be going back to 150.

Big Blue and Wild Woods are my early favorites from the new tracks, but I love most of them. With this pack this is definitely the most fun I've ever gotten out of a Mario kart game.

While both DLC packs for this game have been excellent, what they've done more than anything else is intensify my desire for a new F-Zero.

I so much want a Speed Racer reskin for Mario Kart 8. Between the F-Zero tracks and 200cc mode they're already halfway there.

200cc is a goddamn nightmare. Like... it's super hard to react to it. I feel like whatever muscle memory I've built about how to tackle corners and stuff has all become totally irrelevant and I need to like retrain myself. Once you're at that speed and going down a wavy road, you're suddenly jumping stuff that you would normally would be constantly curving around, and instead you're just like "FUCK IT! I'M JUST GONNA DRIVE STRAIGHT!" Because the second you start drifting in the wrong spot, you are fucked.

200cc is insane. I swear, in some of the tracks where there are multiple turns in quick succession, you need to prep yourself for the third turn before you take the first turn.

The way they are adding on to this game is giving me great hope for the future of Nintendo as a modern company that continues to make amazing games.
