One of the most fun and interesting features of Mario Kart 8 is the addition of Mario Kart TV - a way to create and share highlight reels from your races. Mario Kart 8 lets you upload them to YouTube and/or the Miiverse, resulting in a bunch of awesome clips from people's races. You can even view all of them in one nice place on https://mariokart.tv. There are a few different options when creating your movies, so be sure to explore them to create the best highlight reel.

I thought it would be fun to have a place to share people's movies from Mario Kart TV.

I kind of suck at this game so I don't have very many good ones, but I did have a silly match where I had a heated rivalry with Luigi.

Nintendo's still got it guys! I've been playing it all day with my kids and wife. I just need more controllers now! Lol. Does the wii-u pro controller work well? We've been using our old wii remote and it's not as good as the game pad.

First video I bothered to record. Nothing amazing, but I thought the midair anti-grav boost was kinda cool.

How can you make Highlights of online races?

I'd love to upload a video, but every single time I try to upload a video it hangs on one of the Youtube sign in pages. Does anyone know if I have to wait on the page for a really long time or is it just busted for me?

Clips from a time trial I just did. All the new levels are pretty cool (and the revamped classics are not bad, actually I probably prefer the remixed Rainbow Road to the new one) -- this one has a lot of fancy effects going on with the track itself. If only the music in Electrodrome was as good as in Bowser's Castle...

If you go to the Mario Kart TV option afterwards (from the main menu) you should have the record of the race in your "recent" section (from where you can edit & share). Though (I presume) it won't be there if you played enough in the meantime.

Worth noting that during the post-race cool down laps you can press the + button to star it, so that it does not disappear. You can have up to six starred replays, which can be viewed and managed in Mario Kart TV menu option.

I love how at the end of people's races, their characters take their hands off the wheel to celebrate in their own way yet STILL can take turns. Must be steering with their knees.

Started to mess with the different editing options with this one. Tried focusing on multiple characters and using the "big hits" option.

This race was back and forth the whole way through. Decided to upload because of last second first place finish.

This is easily the closest first-place finish I've had. I cut it about as close as possible.
