Who is your go to Mario Kart racer?

Mario Kart has a wide variety of characters, do you have a particular favourite?

Mine is and always has been Toad, love that little mushroom head.

On a side note, I am playing Super Mario Kart right now, my dad came in and said.

"This game is shit, why don't you play Mario Kart Wii or something!"

Parents really don't get it..

It's always a mad dash to Yoshi, my childhood favorite, so I eventually decided that he (she?) is not worth the effort. I started using Wario and I do fine with him. Although doing some research, Peach might be a more appropriate replacement.

Luigi. Decent acceleration and great top speed. He's light, so he gets shoved around in a pack, but if I'm ahead by enough that doesn't matter until you get blue-shelled.

Don't know if that applies to older Kart titles, though. Did they have individual stats, or was it just a cosmetic change?

Rosaline or Baby Peach. Little Peach get's wrecked too often so I sometimes switch to Rosaline. I just want to go fast, mang.

I don't use many racers other than Luigi, but when I need something different for a specific track, I always use Yoshi.

One more vote for Toad, and that goes for any Mario spin off series. Don't really know why other than he seems like a funguy (ba-dum tish)

I'm a fan of the Light Weight class of characters. I enjoy a very fast acceleration. In Mario Kart 7 I usually use Toad because of this.

Koopa Troops are always the best, if there is no Koopa Troop then I opt for Wario.

I wish they would bring back Dry Bones, he was the bester.

Yoshi, Koopa (the little green dude, not Bowser) or Waluigi.
I loved pairing King boo and Waluigi in Double Dash.

Always use a type of turtle. Koopa/Paraoopatroopa in Double Dash. Dry Bones in DS, or Wii (although I never play Wii). Koopatroopa in the SNES version. Bowser in the 64 version.
