Every time I start the game it crashes to desktop with the error "MarvelGame.exe has stopped working".

I've tried changing the resolution in config files. I've tried running as admin. I've tried running it in windowed mode. I've tried verifying cache files, and I've even uninstalled and re installed. Nothing works. It just runs the first time setup on steam (every time), and then just crashes before it can get to the main menu. Has/is anyone else had/having this problem? If so, how'd you fix it? I want to play this game, and I don't want my time spent waiting for it to download to go to waste. Even though that's going to happen no matter what I do.

If your using the steam version go into pref and verify the game files.
