Which characters would you want in Marvel vs Capcom 3, but you know that there is a very slim chance, if any, that you will get? Mine will probably have to be Jin Saotome (the crazy dude who could make robot hands pop out from the edge of the screen in MvC2), because he was one of my mains in that game.

I'm not even a fan of his, but for some reason I want Warpath in the game. In that cool X-Force costume. I just want to see how he would play and what special movies they'd give him.
 
On the Capcom side, I would want someone like Gene from God Hand, but he's not gonna be in it. Other than that, I would like Arthur to be in it. Maybe changing suits as your power meter goes up (Lv 1. silver knight armor, Lv.2 green armor, Lv.3 gold armor).

First, I really want Phoenix Wright to make it in. It's not going to happen, but I REALLY wish it would.

I would like to see Sagat in a Marvel VS game, but I know that at that point they would be scraping too much from the Street Fighter barrel :(

Lilith...  With Morrigan in the game there's almost no chance.

U.S. Agent - Just like with Lilith and Morrigan, he won't be in since he's just a palette switch of Cap. America  

Carnage - I'm not even sure if Venom will still be in it, he has to though cause he's one of the most popular Marvel characters.  But if Venom makes it, there won't be a need for a 3rd character identical to Spider-Man.  

Doctor Octopus - I'd love to see him pit against Wesker in his Spider-Man 2 appearance but he might be a little too overpowered and big for the game, plus he would be super cheap.  

Juggernaut - Probably like Doc Ock, too overpowered and big and they might use less X-Men characters just like less Street Fighter.  

 Nightcrawler - He probably won't make it as he has Cyclops, Magneto, and Storm to compete with.  I rather see him over Cyclops but Cyclops is more popular unfortunately.  

Phoenix (Jean Grey) - DEFINITELY overpowered.  Would be a great boss but Dormammu is already the boss. 
 
Onslaught - Would be pretty insane if for some reason after the defeat of Dormammu, Magneto goes crazy and Xavier tries to stop him but their minds fuse and BAM the return of Onslaught.  
 
Symbiote Spidey or Ultimate Spider-Man - Unless Capcom is trying to surprise us Spider-Man fans (since they're taking forever to confirm him) with a level 3 hyper moveset that allows Spider-Man to change into his symbiote form, I don't know if I can see the possibility of his armored version in this game.
 
Also, if Capcom can do an exclusive character deal and put a Crackdown agent on the game for the Xbox 360 version, that would be badass.  I honestly could see a Crackdown agent being a potential fighter with some good hypers.  But that won't happen.

Spider-Man. The only reason I'm saying this is because he hasn't been announced yet, and there are rumors that Activision has been trying to block the use of him in non-Activision games.
 
Other than him, I'd say Rad Spencer, Pheonix Wright, Ghost Rider could be cool, and Skullomania would be pretty rad.
