Sucks, kotaku pulled  a quote from Capcom Europe' s twitter, 
"MvsC3 is out, done and dusted, no further announcements planned"
 Remember all those people worrying about how "Capcom is going to nickel and dime us to death with DLC characters!" ? Well, i guess those fears were unfounded. Guess people can stop asking for Phoenix Wright and Megaman too.  Anyone else bummed?

That doesn't necessarily mean they are done with DLC.

Internet rumors, always a 100% accurate source of information. 

MVC3 not getting more than 2 extra DLC characters? Please, Capcom will enter a couple more, there is plenty of room on the roster right now to make the selection a perfect square.

I don't know, you would think Captivate would be the time to announce new DLC, but nada. 

I think that's their way of saying "there's not going to be a Super Marvel Vs. Capcom 3."

Pretty sure there was another tweet correcting that.

Also I don't bother listening to Capcom twitter accounts, considering the kind of shit they let Ono say.

I dunno, it's fun to think of the characters you'd like for them to add, but realistically the odds of them choosing characters I personally would spend $5 on is/was pretty slim anyway.  Like you mentioned Phoenix Wright and Megaman... I wouldn't buy either of those.

first of all,, this was already confirmed to be about SF4, not mvc3, that was a typo (goes in line with seth also saying they are done with sf4 after AE)

second, even if it was about mvc3, that you would believe a twitter post to be ultimatum is pretty funny this day and age when companies deny something and confirm it the next week

I hate DLC.

With it being capcom I'd not be too surprised if they left the DLC thing alone for a while & do some late in the year to try to get people back into playing it.

Even if  they wanted to make more DLC I think Japan might be a little occupied right now. Plus they would just charge to much for them anyways.

I don't think Capcom will not add more characters for this game.

Seriously, i will buy this game when they release venom. But until then...FUCK YOU CAPCOM. Or carnage. But venom is preferred. 

Meh. . . I'm pretty done with this game anyway. It doesn't have the lasting appeal that SF4 has had.

If they're going to keep putting out Shadow Battles, I really don't see them not taking the opportunity to make more DLC characters.

As if they're done selling us costumes. I bet we've stil got at least 10 months of MvC 3 DLC to sift through before they consider themselves "done"

MK9 would easily surpass MVC3 at least in the states. The thing about Mortal Kombat is that it has always sold well in the States despite what most of us thought of the quality.

A lot of MK fans didn't necessarily need a well balanced and mechanically sound game to be sold on the franchise.
