Today GameSpot revealed a new feature, Shadow Mode!
Basically Shadow Mode will allow players to download AI based on habits and tendencies of Capcom's staff as well as famous players from the competitive fighting scene. The first pack, scheduled for release in March, will include teams and AI based on producer Ryota Niitsuma, associate producer Akihito Kadowaki, and a QA tester. Personally I can't wait to get killed by robo-Seth Killian.
Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds
Game » consists of 10 releases. Released Feb 15, 2011
After a decade-long hiatus, Marvel vs. Capcom 3 continues the popular crossover fighting game series characterized by fast-paced gameplay, complex tag teams, and elaborate combos.
Shadow Mode announced
Is it free?
I mean I guess it probably is... Since Tekken 6 had that kinda stuff for free.
Then again Tekken 6 also had a bunch of outfits and gear for free....
This only ends with the development staff giving their AI counterparts vanity upgrades until they're completely untouchable.
" This is useless. The AI, in this case, will never be able to mimic the behavior of a human so I don't see what the point is. It means nothing if you beat Justing Wong's shadow and it'll mean nothing if you get beaten by his shadow. "You can learn their combos?

They'd have to, right? I mean they wouldn't mention "pros" and not have guys like Wong in it. At least I hope so." Hope to see Justin Wong and Tokido doin some stuff. "
" @FluxWaveZ said:You can always watch Youtube videos for that. I really doubt the AI will set up combos like the actual person does and I believe going against those shadows will have no educational value whatsoever. It's just like going against the computer in Arcade mode with the highest difficulty setting. Plus, I think this is paid DLC and, to me, paying for this is absurd." This is useless. If this is free, or even if it isn't, why dislike it? No one is forcing you to use it and some people might get use out of it. It won't be as good as a real player, it's impossible to mimic how a real player would play. For someone like me who is afraid of getting owned online I can use something like this to at least get an idea of combos that might actually work against someone online or how to counter someones combos.
