Same here.  What really got me were his eyes and lips, they move and react so realistically it's actually shocking at times.  In the scene when you first open his tank and he slams Shep against the crates, I couldn't stop looking at his eyes.

Grunt is excellent but my favorite must be Thane. They all are really well done.

Legion. And I can't even really explain why.

The drell. I love their eyes.

I couldn't believe how realistic Zaeed looks.

I really like how Garrus animates, he was one of the main people with me on the first.

Grunt and the vorcha look really good, but Thane has amazing eyes.

The weaving on the apricot-colored flesh on Grunt's face really sold his character design for me. 
 
I like Garrus's model a lot, and Legion's as well.

I'd give Miranda a facial model if you know what I'm saying. Hey-o!

Tali...lol kidding! I'd have to say Grunt or Garrus. When I think about it, all of the aliens on the team look freakin' cool. I can't choose. I just don't like the human faces. It's between Grunt, Garrus, Legion, and Tali just cause I can see her face a little better than in the last game, haha.
 
Also...never found Miranda's (or her voice actress) to be all that attractive.

But man I love the Turians I think they look badass, so Garrus probably.

Almost all non-human characters look great.  The Unreal Engine really is not that great for human facial modeling and animation.

I think Zaeed looks the best.  I like that his dead eye doesn't move when he looks around :p.  His face and hair seems a lot more detailed than some of the other human characters.  Better textures.

Grunt's scales (or whatever those were) looked so awesome.

I made a real good-looking Charlize Theron.

I thought Samara had a really well animated and crafted face.  I also think Mordin really had some subtle animations that gave him a lot of character.  Overall, except for maybe Miranda and Jacob, all the faces looked really good.

I'm gonna have to go with Garrus. The heart-to-heart with Shepard on his side mission really showed off his more subtle body language- something that wasn't in the first.

The way they handled Legion was pretty awesome. The way his "wings" or "eyebrows" move on his head is all you need to see to know how he's reacting. The very first time you see him and he looks away from his scope, his fins pop up and you know he's like "Holy shit. Is that Shepard?" 
 

Grunt is extremely well detailed, but I have to give my vote to Legion.  I really like how his "face" moves, and the high lens flare the face-light has makes it look really cool.

Legion's "facial movements" are hilarious and extremely well done. Miranda's face was extremely accurately done too, but Grunt gets my vote.

Aria, I have to say. The face model is quite different from most Asari we`ve encountered in ME1 and ME2. Though, I have to say that Mordin is quite amazing too.

Personally I think that Samara/Morinth were a cut above all the other Asari (including 'eyebrows' Liara), there was a lot of texture detail in her skin, made her far more real than most asari with their twi'lek smoothness.

Grunt - Legion, didn't like the Asari in this game. 

I really liked Garrus' mandibles wiggling as he lined up the shot on his former comrade... it expressed a lot of what he was feeling in that moment.
