Im doing an evil Female shep playthrough, and I want to do something I couldnt do on my first playthrough, kill off jack. Shes annoying and whiney and mostly just a psychopath, so now I need to ensure that in Mass Effect 3 she won't make any appearances.
Rather than go through complex guides (Very few of which go over how to kill someone in particular), I'd like to know how I could go about removing her from my team. Did anyone lose her?

There are many words to describe Jack, but whiny isn't one of them.
Also why bother killing her off? It's not written in stone that she has no meaningful impact in ME3.
Oh, the irony.. I loved her and tried my best to please her and keep her around, but somehow she was the FIRST to die during the major attack on the normandy cutscene before the suicide mission..
But then again, i had Legion and Garrus and Mordin and Thane die though i liked them, and had Miranda and Jacob and that crazy old witch lady stick around though i threw their bags out to the sidewalk repeatedly as a hint of my intentions...
I lost her on my Hardcore run through. She died during the escape, don't know what squad I put her in. I think if you just avoid doing her loyalty mission and generally not use her in the game, she'll get killed. Also, choosing a job she is ill suited for like going into the security vents might guarantee her death.
Don't upgrade your ship armor, she'll be the first to die before the suicide mission even starts. I lost her that way on my first playthrough. Quick, simple, and effective.
Nice, replacing one psychopath with Shepard psychopath, i like the way you think. Hm, this reminds me, for all the shit i give Mass Effect 2, i actually kind of want to play it.
Jack will die if you don't upgrade the shields - but other people might die as well, but she is ALWAYS the first to bite it, as she's down in the cargo hold. As Grunt points out, it's a structurally weak area.
Well, it's hard to kill off someone specific. Not doing her loyalty mission is a good start.
DAMN IT! I knew that was a bad idea, I was a jerk to her during it, if that counts for anything.

yea so... in my quest to kill Jack. I lost Legion. I made Jack lead the 1st fireteam hoping she'd get snuffed, and Legion ended up getting killed because shes an idiot and can't keep her shit together. He died opening the doors for us, Jack killed him, she has to pay. Shes so evil she manipulated me into putting legion in harm's way. She has to be stopped.

Oh, and Tali died too. Now, im doing an insanity playthrough though, i'll try and ignore Jack completely if possible.
I really liked her loyalty mission and I thought she was a great character. Mordin was the only one to die for me and he was the one I wanted to survive more than anyone. I tried it a few times but he keeps dying.
Killing someone specific should be easy enough, no loyalty mission and chuck them into danger in the last mission. How you avoid collateral damage though I'm not sure. If she escorts the crew back and dies do they all die too?

Yeah dude I managed to lose her by starting to romance Miranda (Which doesn't have much to do with it but...), then later in the game when they fight and you can pick a side or just end the conflict with your paragon or renegade points, I picked Miranda.You lose Jack's loyalty.
Later on the suicide mission she died, kinda out of nowhere. Good riddance I say. I made a perfect runthough after, but am tempted to import the one where jack dies.
I think alternatively you could simply not do her loyalty mission.

I think Legion died because I ended his loyalty mission by killing all the geth. Tali died because I revealed who her father truly was in her loyalty mission. If you end their missions in a negative manner I think thats part of what decides how the suicide mission plays out.
@Mikemcn: Well Tali survived for me and i failed her loyalty mission.
I think a sure fire way to get rid of jack is to choose a weak biotic to hold hte biotic barrier in the tunnels, like thane or miranda. Have jack in your squad along with someone who is loyal. At the end of that bit, someone has to die and most reasonably it should be the unloyal person.

THe reason why that happens is that you don't have enough 'strong forces' to stop the collectors, like grunt, zaeed, garrus or miranda then the weakest person gets axed. FIrst mordin then tali
I mostly played Paragon but when Miranda and Jack are fighting in the conference room, choose to side with Miranda (even though that's a Paragon choice.) Then when doing the suicide mission at the end, Jack dies. That's how my playthrough went.
