I've been picking up speed in my second playthrough recently. Some of the DLC makes the game more fun, most notably the Kasumi download - she's useful in combat and has some nice commentary as the game unfolds. Plus her loyalty mission is great." Are people still playing this game? I might make it back for a second trip through in a few months, but I doubt I'll pick up any of the DLC. "

Mass Effect 2 Weapons DLC Out Today
" Don't know what's more sad...? The fact that people actually buy these shit dlc or that news sites are promoting said shit dlc! "Yes, god forbid that a video game news site inform us of video game related news.
$2 for 3 guns? 3 new guns is like those mods I don't download because they have too little content to even be worth my download alone.
Everyone doesn't buy all games on day one. Some actually waits because they have other games to play, low on money and/or, god forbid, have more important things to do in life. And when they do buy the game they don't rush through in a couple of hours/days. And hey, maybe also return to the game every now and then for a second or maybe a third/fourth/fifth playthrough. You gotta relax, take it easy, enjoy the game. Enjoy life. Enjoy the small things in life." Are people still playing this game? I might make it back for a second trip through in a few months, but I doubt I'll pick up any of the DLC. "
If someone hasn't already posted it, one of ME2's designers posted a pretty solid rundown of what the DLC contains and what they're going for as far as the weapons go. http://www.giantbomb.com/profile/kitae/secrets-of-the-firepower-pack/30-57229/

People don't like seeing DLC available at launch, but I feel this kind of DLC being made available ~7 months later is pointless. BioWare, just give me Mass Effect 2: Awakening already.
I don't really see the point in paying $2 for new guns in the game, unless you're the type of gamer that needs every DLC lol.
I have no problem with payed DLC that adds a meaningfull part to the game, new missions etc. But stuff like this they should give players for free via the cerberus network ... 2 bucks for some guns? ... seriously?

This should happen. Her write-up is really informative.
I've yet to finish the last one, but I have been gladly handing out my money for every bit of DLC they've released thus far. I'll probably do the same for this so long as there's a new set of missions coming down the pipeline.
