After a violent death by an unknown force and a timely reanimation by the human supremacist organization Cerberus, Commander Shepard must assemble a new squad in the seedier side of the galaxy for a suicide mission in the second installment of the "Mass Effect" trilogy.
Well, classes start the day before it comes out *angry face* so I definitely can play too much. But I guess from noon to when I finally go to sleep on tuesday will be full of ME2 playing awesomeness. At most, I'll beat it twice.
I am going to be playing this game until eternity, or, at least until ME3 comes out. I cannot wait to get an S-Rank in ME2, then I will have S-Ranked a whole franchise! :D

That's kinda cheating, considering there's only 2 games in the franchise, and 3 isn't even in development yet, as far as we know...

It might not be in development but they've most likely already got the story down. We all know it's coming :P

Exactly! You're essentially missing a whole game that you havn't S-ranked =P That you're gonna have to wait years to be able to.
And yeah, the gameplay in the first is pretty messed up, from what i've seen of ME2, it's fixed that almost completely. But i'm still not gonna get it for quite a while, specially since it comes out the day after my classes start.

Well apparently everything is very much improved in the sequel, that's what all the reviews are saying anyway. I guess we'll see when the game comes out in a few days!
How many hours do I plan to play? Hmm, well I wanted to try at least two distinctly different classes so I will play one main character (Infiltrator) and then try a side one for a bit (Either an Adept, Engineer, or Sentinel). How ever many hours that turns out to be, so be it.
It only took me 25 hours to beat the first after doing everything so I hope I can get a bit more from the sequel. I don't get it 'til next Saturday though.. :(
Whenever I do buy it I will be playing it till it is S ranked I guess, I assume the achievements won't be any harder than the first (which I am still working on oddly enough).
I'm guessing I'll play it constantly except for when I have to do work for classes. I just started the first one a week ago, and I've already played through it once, played halfway through with a different class, and now I'm halfway through on my second playthrough with my original character. I love this game :D.
