Did anyone else get Mass Effect 2 on both PC and 360?

I know it's kinda dumb, but I played it through twice (Paragon and Renegade) on 360 and then bought it for PC while it was on sale at Amazon because I heard it looked even better. I am now on my 2nd playthrough for PC.

Has anyone else done this? If so, which do you think is better? My money is on PC.

I've not done this, but if I had a PS3 I'd consider it as there's a rumor that the PS3 port of ME2 will be made with the Mass Effect 3 engine.

    I didn't think it was a rumor.

I played ME1 originally on my laptop (where it looked fine) but had to buy it again on the 360 so I could play ME2 on the 360 (because ME2 wouldn't play well on my laptop).  When I eventually get a kickass PC, I am going to go back and buy ME2 again for the PC and use my original PC ME1 saves for continuity.

In short, I'm apparently insane.  I am going to have two copies of two of the games in a trilogy.

Yeah, the unreal engine being used for ME2 on the PS3 is the one that will be used for ME3 on 360,ps3 and pc

Well, it will look better, i doubt a lot, or atleast hopefully the textures will be more consistant

I did. Played the PC version for a couple hours. Hated it. Went right back to the 360 version.

The PC version of a game is almost always the best version :/

PC version of ME2 has much higher framerate and image quality than the 360 version using just a mid-end card. It's also highly moddable, so you can get your Shepard to look almost any way you want. M+KB is also arguably a better control scheme.

@JJWeatherman: I didn't know if it was a rumor or not. I guess it's factual.

I thought about this. I was thinking of getting both ME1 and ME2 for PC after playing them so much on 360. The only reason was to just play them again but with a bit more difference. I didn't do it in the end because I tried the ME2 demo and it felt odd. I've never played a cover based third person shooter on PC so the controls with keyboard and mouse felt as strange as Halo does on PC.

Meh, I still might end up getting them if I see them on sale before ME3 comes out.

I ended up buying the first game twice, only so I had a PC save for when 2 came out.  I've found both of the games to be pretty inconsistent in terms of visuals tbh, regardless of platform.

You can see for yourself by downloading the ME2 demo for PS3. I don't think it looks any better than the 360 version and it actually glitches like a motherfucker.
The PC version looks better than both the 360 and the PS3 versions.

To answer the OP, I bought both the 360 version and the pc version (during the steam holiday sale).

Yeah, I was surprised by how well it looked and ran on my old 8800GT.

To answer the question, I have it for both 360 and PC, I greatly prefer the PC version.

Well, I got Mass Effect 2 for $25 but I know I'm getting the PS3 version. It makes sense to me since I never got any of the DLC anyway, and I sold my copy for $20.

Nope, I only bought it on the PC and I don't see a reason to get it on any other platform.

Me. The gameplay is WAYYYYY better on PC but when it launched I didn't have a good enough PC. Now I do and I bought both games for PC. They look and run way better and play MUCH better.

I original got it on the PC but just recently bought the Xbox 360 version for achievements. Both versions are fine in my opinion, but I guess I like PC a little more.
